Cell Phone Plans - Flat rate pricing

I was reading the Sunday paper this morning and something that caught my eye was 3 large adds from Verizon wireless, Att wireless and T-Mobile all touting Flat rate pricing plans with unlimited calling for for $99.00/month.

These adds were in The Orlando Florida area

Although I have not been looking for a new plan this was the first time that I have seen the major players offering the flat rate pricing. Finally competition is catching up and we will start to see our cell phone bills drop with out having to watch your minutes used.

If they are offering $99/month now how long will it be befrore one of them "blinks" and drops the prices further causing the other ones to match.

This is long overdue
